Recently, impacted by the “July 8, 2026, CPSC eFiling Regulation,” a shipment of pool cues destined for the US market has officially been cleared and released by US Customs after nearly a month of cross-border transit and rigorous customs inspection. The goods have now arrived at our US partner warehouse and will soon be dispatched to customers.
This shipment consisted of mid-range maple wood pool cues. Prior to departure, we completed comprehensive product material testing, compliant wooden packaging treatment, and a full pre-audit of all trade documentation. To meet US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements, we conducted thorough product safety compliance assessments and collaborated with the importer to issue the mandatory General Certificate of Conformity (GCC). Due to the multi-step procedural back-and-forth required for these new regulations, the overall clearance cycle was extended. Throughout this period, our foreign trade team closely monitored logistics updates, maintaining high-frequency communication with the carrier and US customs brokers. By promptly supplementing required declaration materials and efficiently cooperating with inspections, we ensured the cargo passed through customs without incurring demurrage fees or sustaining any damage.
